Job Position : AVP Procurement

Job Description :

Leading and developing global Sourcing and procurement for worldwide spend of USD400-500 Mn with external suppliers for all procurement activities across company maximizing scale efficiencies and meeting cost optimization targets while maintaining the balance with business expectations and also leading the team through the exciting journey of transformation.
•Key responsibilities include strategizing, organizing, coordinating and directing one or a combination of major programs and activities of the purchasing function including the supervision and staff development of professional and clerical support staff.
•Duties include coordination and use of Procure to Pay (P2P) ERP solution and developing and recommending departmental goals, policies and procedure.
•As an experienced and inspiring procurement leader in a large matrix organization managing multi-million Dollar spend in a global role, you will be expected to build the right organization and tools for the future to deliver best value for the organization.
•A key deliverable will be the transition of the function into a valued, service driven, supportive team with a clear commercial voice and exemplary delivery focus.

Responsibilities
•Creating, maintaining and aligning Procurement Strategy for all Procurement requirements
•Required to make day to day decisions with authority over various procurement categories
•Global Sourcing and Negotiations for the specific requirements
•Process improvement in the cross-functional nature of activities with internal and external stakeholders to build procurement efficiencies
•Performance improvement thru’ global collaboration to drive execution of the procurement strategies and processes.
•Active participation in enhancing automation for the Sourcing and P2P processes
•Spend management for all categories of procurement
•Increase capacity of the Procurement organisation by developing and managing the strategic plans and process improvements
•Assure compliance with the policy and controls by maintaining adequate workflows and protocols
•Provide subject matter expertise to the projects and operations team in managing the supply chain and procurement related systems and interfaces

Qualifications
•Graduate in Engineering mandatory – Graduation in IT/ Electronics discipline will be preferred
•Post Graduate in Finance/ SCM/ Operations Management will be preferred
•Professional qualifications in Procurement like CIPS/ CPSM or equivalent preferred

Skills
•Expert knowledge of procurement tools & techniques
•Team & people management – manage team of approx. 30+ members
•Has worked in global environment and has international exposure
•Influence internal stakeholders for alignment to policies and procedures across different regions and layers in the organisation
•Demonstrated strategic problem solving and analytical capability
•Demonstrated business process improvement experience
•Proven interpersonal skills: communication, relationship building, cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder management
•Demonstrated project management and planning skills
•Demonstrated proficiency in personal computer applications including MS Office

Experience
•At least 18 yrs of total experience with 10+ years of experience in Procurement
•At least 3 years of experience in leading Procurement team in global environment
•Has experience in dealing with Global suppliers
