Job Position: Manager - Communications & Training Development
 
Job Description:This role calls for an experienced change agent who will drive and support towards the successful adoption of the latest training & development and skills transformation initiatives.
•Duties will include reviewing, developing and implementing processes and procedures, in the roll-out and management of the Legal, Internal Audit and Supply Chain department’s latest training & development, skills transformation and knowledge management platforms as well as provide internal communications.
•The position will entail working closely with the Office of the senior management and the various cross-functional business units.

Communications (primarily internal stakeholders)
•Adapt at developing targeted content for the relevant departments (e.g. Legal, Procurement and Internal Audit) presentation and meetings
•To prepare presentations for senior management - monthly, quarterly and yearly and department wide presentations for “All Hands” calls, functional reviews, etc.
•Skillful in incorporating and managing new online applications and tools (e.g. webpages, virtual platforms, teleconferencing) to get the message across

Training & Development / Skills Transformation
•Responsible to work with Function heads and HR to identify skills gaps within the team and develop a road map training & development
•This would encompass the creation and maintenance of training content that is adapted to business needs
•Organize / co-ordinate / conduct internal and external training programs
•Provide administrative system support for all on-line training subscriptions and monitor the usage report to drive active skills transformation programs
•Act as a SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for all training needs, co-ordinate and communicate with internal and/or external stakeholders

Process automation
•Document Management e.g. to ensure adoption of OneDrive and SharePoint
•Possesses the strategic and tactical insight, together with the knowledge of continuous process improvement methodologies, to influence and implement effective change
•Display great aptitude when working with internal stakeholders and vendors/suppliers to implement or improve processes
•Able to provide administrator-level support and handle user queries for legal operations and its applications
•Any other ad hoc programmes and projects

Skills & Experience
•Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint and Adobe Acrobat
•Excellent command of English language - written and spoken
•Effective communications, organizing and time management skills are key to be successful in this role
•High energetic, enthusiastic and proactive individual to drive various training programmes
•Fast learner to adopt new systems or technology and have can-do attitude
•Collaborates well with cross various levels in the organization and offshore teams
•Ability to produce and disseminate training content (e.g. ‘live’ sessions and over web-based learning platforms)
•Minimum 8 - 10 years of communications and training & development experience is a must
•At least a bachelor’s degree with specialization or emphasis on Training & Development, Communications, Organizational Development or related area
•Exposure within an international, telecommunications MNC environment is a strong plus
