Job Position: Bid Manager
 
Job Description:Work on key identified complex/large deals from Telecom BPO/Consultancy practice through responding to RFx and Proactive requirements/Proposals.
•Work Closely with Sales/Account Management and all key Stakeholder teams including Solution Architect team, Commercial, Contracts, Legal, Finance, Delivery, etc.
•Adhere compliance to internal Processes and Approvals during the Bid lifecycle.
•Understand RFP / Proactive opportunity requirements received from the customer
•Build a Opportunity Summary and publish to the key stake holders in the organization.
•Develop and build a Bid Submission Plan, with key milestones considering the bid submission deadline
•Ensure meeting all milestones as per submission timelines for the opportunity/Bid
•Deliver bid proposals on time and in compliance to all customer bid requirements and Instructions
•Project Manage the Bid management activities including coordination activities with all stakeholders.
•Prepare Bid/Opportunity submission Trackers and publish to stakeholders to know status for Management
•Competent bid writing to submit a high quality Technical bid proposal
•Develop strong relationships with key content providers from stakeholder teams
•Ensure continuous timely reviews of the Technical Proposal and other Bid response documents
•Collate information which can be critical to producing compliant, compelling and engaging documents on behalf of the company
•Strive towards competitive bid response with aim to increase win percentage
•Conduct and perform win-loss analysis, MIS for bids undertaken and suggest improvements
•Meet regularly with key stakeholders to ensure that information is disseminated when new events take place across the organisation
•Adhere to bid management framework/OLA/processes
•Document all key mails and information as per process and interlocks for internal and external functional Audit participation

Skills
•6 – 8 years of relevant work experience in telecommunications in the area of bid management, commercials
•Preferable background in Presales for Telecom BPO / Consultancy
•PMO experience for project managing bids
•PGD in Business Administration / MBA and graduate engineering
•Basic understanding of telecom products and services
•Sound understanding of bid process and competition strength/weakness understanding
•Excellent communication and technical writing skills
•Ability to manage large and complex bids
•Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders / vendors on commercials and bid submission timelines
•Very strong people, knowledge and time management skills
