Job Position: Circle Sales Head
 
Job Description:The position exists to drive Sales and Distribution strategy to deliver the Annual Business Plan and evolve sales systems & processes to build more robust growth for the circle.
•The position is responsible for ensuring smooth execution of Annual Business Plan taking into account the Marketing, Commercial and Logistic Input.
•The position is responsible for providing continuous monitoring of external environment and for communicating the business progress to top management on regular basis.
•The position is also responsible for designing of the Sales & Distribution plans for circle and execution of capability building initiative for systematic growth.
•The position also entails Tracking and Utilization of trade budget.

Responsibilities
•Achievement of Annual Business Plan in terms of sales volume, customer acquisitions and revenue targets for the circle.
•Increasing the Market Share/ Share of gross Adds in the circle
•Set distribution benchmarks and monitoring of performance against benchmarks
•Cost Management
•Channel Relationship Management
•Team Management & Motivation
•Monthly, Quarterly & Yearly Achievement of Acquisition & Revenue Targets
•Increasing the Market Share/ Share of Gross Aquisition in the circle
•Planning and optimization of S & D budget including customer acquisition cost.
•Manage and develop the overall channel sales network by achieving the volume/value/profitability targets.
•Planning & implementing the company sales & marketing strategy and harnessing the full potential of the retail distribution system for all product range.
•Understand market trends, competition and suggest process improvements.
•Build brand image, position and achieve market leadership.
•Improve upon pricing and cost control.
•Dimensioning of complete distribution channel
•Setting up distribution benchmarks and monitoring performance against the same.
•Monitor competition distribution strategy and approach constantly
•Develop and implement Secondary tracking and other related processes for distribution
•Expansion of distribution depth and width
•Conduct distributor audits
•Work closely with Cluster Business Managers for sales performance
•Process compliance – statutory and operational.

Skills
•Coordination of the distribution channel for day to day operations
•12-15 years of experience in sales and distribution in Telecom/FMCG industry
•Graduate/ Masters in business management
